The Parabola Cutter's secret is its logical, highly precise mechanism that allows construction projects, which previously required large-scale boring machines, to be completed with ease.
Environmental Measures
The Parabola Cutter promotes innovative and environmentally-sound technologies:
- Cutting times have been reduced to approximately 15 minutes
- The blade mounting board is made of special, noise-reducing materials
- With the new Paraola Blade, the usage of coolants is minimized and the water tank carried on the machine itself suffices even for the largest cuts.
Economical
The Parabola Cutter proves to be
economical by reducing the size of construction area to a minimum
and enabling cost performance with less construction waste and
materials.
The surface area removed to replace a manhole with a round cut is about 20% less
than with a square cut. This size factor not only minimizes the waste, but also enables construction to
be performed by closing only one lane.
Ease of Use
The Parabola Cutter allows users to set
up in an incredibly short time and perform the cutting operations
easily. It also performs straight cuts.
The entire construction can be performed by only five people. Two to watch the traffic on each
side of the road, one person to perform the cutting and the other people preparing the filling and
asphalt to be used. The Parabola Cutter weighs about 100kg, and can easily be carried by two persons.
Speed
The Parabola Cutter makes the removal of the cut sections
of road surface easier and minimizes operating noise.
Cut out sections of the road surface can either be broken down with a jack hammer and removed by
hand or with the new Parabola Silent System, even this noise is reduced by lifting out the entire
cut in one piece.

The Parabola Cutting method prevents surface subsidence and minimizes road noise.

The Parabola Cutter's sophisicated blade surface makes it extremely durable.
Parabola Blades
Circular cutting has become possible due to the combination of the Parabola Cutter and the spherically shaped blades.
The blade that fits the curve of the cut performs smooth cutting due to its perfect alignment and superior strength.
Noise Reduction
The material and shape of the blade suppress vibration. Compared to blades for straight cuts, the Parabola Blade produces a much lower cutting noise due to slits on the periphery that are designed to suppress the high frequency sound generated during the cutting operation.
Streamlined Edge
The shape of the blade edge (diamond segment) is identical to the curved contour of the blade. The blades have a selected abrasive coating that provides a superb cutting edge.
Plate Abrasion Proof
Ultra hard material is inserted uniformly into the slits to prevent the deterioration of the blade in case a user ever accidentally cuts through the pavement, into the road bed.
Versatility
Standard blades are mainly designed to cut asphalt only. However, the Parabola Blades are made of a special bond that makes concrete cutting possible. (Note: The performance will be reduced for concrete cutting.)
